Following 1-6 home defeat to Marlow (The less said, the better) The 3XI went up the North Circular looking to respond against a West Hampstead team sat 9th in the table.

We started the game strongly and we were rewarded for our early pressure with several short corners, the second of which was deflected in by Luke Hart at the back post. Staines continued to go forward and some great play led to Ant Knight forcing a great save from their keeper, that fell to Rupert Scott to tap in. Staines spent the rest of the half on the defensive, managing to keep out three successive short corners, with some great work by Charlie Cafe, deflecting several over the top, taking us into the break 2-0 up.

The second half was more of the same for Staines, as we largely kept them quiet at the back, whilst continuing to create chances going forward, although Luke Hart's second goal was the only one added, leaving the score 3-0 to Staines at full time, keeping us unbeaten on the road in 2020.

The result leaves us best of the rest in the table in 3rd, with the second best defensive record in the league.
