After finishing mid table in the 2021/2022 season in South Central Premier Division 1 (below the national league conference) the Men's 1st XI had a number of changes over the summer; a change in coach, manager and captain, as well as welcoming some new additions to the squad for the 2022/2023 season.

Some mixed results early on left them sitting mid table at Christmas. However, a strong team spirit saw the team bounce back with a series of strong results after the break and pushed the team towards the top of the table, ultimately finishing 3rd and representing one of the highest final league standings in the club's history.
