Staines Hockey Club

2025/26 season saw our ladies 3rd XI playing their hockey in South Central Thames Division 2 following being promoted last season. Alongside the increase in pace there was a number of squad changes which made it difficult for the team to settle at the start of the season. The results indicated that whilst the team were scoring goals, they were also leaking them which made securing the points a challenge. However, they showed amazing resilience and turned up every week with a smile on their face and despite finishing 11th in the league (missing out on 10th place only on goal difference) they have retained their place in the division and so get to consolidate their learning and aim to improve on last season's placement.

Our ladies 3rd XI train alongside the ladies 4th XI on a Thursday evening and are always keen to welcome new players to their squad.
